چکیده
Antithrombotic strategies are currently recommended for the treatment of lower extremity artery disease (LEAD) but specific scores to assess risk bleeding in these patients scarce. To fill gap, OAC3-PAD score was recently developed and validated German cohorts. The aim this study determine whether performs appropriately another real world nationwide cohort. This 10 year retrospective, multicentre based on French national electronic health data included who underwent revascularisation LEAD between January 2013 June 2022. calculated from this, population classified into four groups: low, low moderate, moderate high risk. A binary logistic regression model applied, with major occurring at one (defined using International Classification Diseases ICD-10) as dependent variable. performance investigated a receiver operating characteristic curve. Among 161 205 hospitalised institutions, incidence 13 672 (8.5%). distribution according was: 88 835 (55.1%), 34 369 (21.3%), 27 914 (17.3%), 087 (6.3%) high, groups, respectively; an 5.0%, 9.8%, 13.2%, 21.3%. achieved AUC 0.650 predict following repair (95% CI 0.645 − 0.655), sensitivity 0.67 specificity 0.57. analysis confirmed accuracy served external validation. Although further studies required, it adds evidence perspectives generalise its use guide management LEAD.
